Brightest and Best cover low resA few weeks before a new book releases, I get my hands on my first just-off-the-press copy.

The awesomeness that is Annie Tipton, my editor at Barbour/Shiloh Press, grabs a copy as soon as they arrive from the printer and sends it my way with a sweet note. Later I get more copies, but that first one is always the one that says that months of work have finally made a book.

And this time I’m giving away that first copy.

Annie will sign it, and I’ll sign it, and those two names will always mark it as my very first author copy.

Would you like to have my first author copy on your bookshelf?

Leave a comment below between now and Friday, July 10, 2015. Tell me about another favorite book in your personal collection. At the end of the day on July 10, I’ll draw a name and the book will wend its way to the lucky winner!

Come on. Comment. I’d love to send you the book.
